VQ Las Vegas!
Thursday 15th October saw the staging of the sixth Victoria Quarter Shopping Affair – VQ Las Vegas. T
The evening was another runaway success, with in excess of 9,000 shoppers taking advantage of the events' special offers available throughout the centre's 76 stores.
The event has become a firm fixture for the fashion conscious in the region, with entertainment this year from 'Frank Sinatra', Vegas showgirls, stilt walkers and much more. The main event however was, as always, most definitely the shopping!
Stage Management Company provided all the sound, lighting, staging and rigging for this event utilising a variety of equiment such as; Truss goal posts consisting of Par Cans, Festoon Strobes, Martin MAC500s, Source Four Profiles and Pixel Par 90s for the main stage along with a PA of d&b C6 and QSubs and Sennheiser Radio Microphones. The surrounding arcades were fed audio through 8x d&b E3 loudspeakers with further MAC500s, Pin Spots, Generic Profile Gobo washes and Star Cloths positioned at various centres of interest around the shopping centre as well as an addtional PA at the entrance for Show Girl Performances.
