"Stage Management Company turn to Opera...."
The production has been commissioned by ENO from composer Torsten Rasch, and will be performed at a mysterious vacant site at Great Eastern Quay in London’s Royal Albert Basin.
The production will be directed by Punchdrunk artistic director Felix Barrett, making his ENO debut, conducted by Stephen Higgins and featuring the ENO Orchestra and a cast of 17 performers. Punchdrunk Associate Director Maxine Doyle directs and choreographs alongside Barrett. The libretto by Ian Burton has been taken from John Webster’s celebrated seventeenth-century tragedy of love, incest and murder.
Technical Management input from Stage Management Company mimics that of last years' sell out success; "It Felt Like A Kiss" with our team once more being responsible for a whole range of lighting, audio and effects pieces through Fit Up, Rehearsals, Show and Get Out.

Latest updates on the award winning It Felt Like A Kiss - a collaboration between Manchester International Festival, BBC and Punchdrunk Theatre are that this highly acclaimed production, with Audio and Technical Management input from Stage Management Company may be making its' international debut in Holland in 2011. "Leeds Grand Theatre Installation Phase 2..."
Due to the overwhelming success of our recent installation of a backstage calls system into the Howard Assembly Rooms for Opera North, Leeds Grand Theatre have shown strong interest in updating their own backstage and front of house calls system. Once again, BOSE Professional control elements and Australian Monitor speakers and amplifiers have been specified as part of our proposal.
